Ax les Thermes in the French Pyrenees is an ideal base for a Road
biking holiday. The area is now well know for the mountain stage
finishes of The Tour de France, in the last 7 years 2 time Bonascre
and 4 time the Plateau de Beille. The Alpage is situated between
4 notable cols, 3 ski resorts, this provides us, during the spring
, summer and autumn with endless scope for col bagging and biking
as active as you want to make it. There are over 500 miles of quiet
roads with the most challenging of rides to be done from the front
door. Circular rides including the col or Port de Pailhères
2001m. The challenge of the 4 ski resorts Beille, Bonascre, Ascou-Pailhères
and Chioula in 1 day.
